Juan Manuel Marquez emerged as the winner via unanimous decision over Mike Alvarado in their fight at The Forum in California. Most of the rounds was dominated by JMM and excites the crowd when he knocked down Mike Alvarado in Round 8 but the latter even it when he brought JMM to the canvas in Round 9.
JMM, when asked by Max Kellerman if he would fight Manny Pacquiao, can't make a decision and said that he would be with his family first above all after this fight. JMM is the mandatory challenger against Manny Pacquiao which will be, if decided, bring the rivalry to their fifth fight.
Its kinda boring for some but it would be an interesting fight since everybody will be watching knowing that Marquez knocked Pacquaio out on round six of their fourth fight and that Manny will be ready for redemption.
Everybody wants Manny against Mayweather but I think it won't happen until Mayweather won't make any alibis again.
Congratulations Juan Manuel Marquez. I hope you make up your mind to fight Manny Pacquiao for fifth time since you are the mandatory challenger.
